ABOUT US

Our dogs bring so much joy into our lives.

First and foremost, let me say we are NOT breeders!  We are simply folks who retired and decided we had time for a pup.  Long story short, one pup led to another and we became crazy dog parents (if you don’t believe me just ask our grown kids & grandkids!).  Our lives were full with sweet Beagle Buddies Bridger Marsh & Daisy Mae.  To be honest, we just doted on them.  Then, a neighbor’s little Yorkie wandered into our yard and opened my heart to Yorkie babies.  Before long, we added Sallie Belle and Zoey Patricia to our home!  We are the people we used to say we would never be – people who treat their dogs like kids.  They stay in the house with us, travel with us, have regular visits to the vet and fill our lives and hearts with joy every day.  We love……..

Your New Puppy

As we get closer to having puppies to adopt, you will find more on this page about how to buy a puppy, contracts, expectations, etc, etc.

Want to know the specifics about adopting a puppy from us? This page is chock full of awesome info to help you get started with adopting a Nana’s  Star Yorkie.

As you get ready to bring your new puppy home there are many things to be ready for.  Puppies will not only need food and love, they will also need patience, sleep areas, places to feel safe, and a pet parent ready to begin teaching them all they need to know.  This page will give lots of information about welcoming your puppy home!

As a person who added 4 new puppies to our home in just over 3 years, I’ve tried many different products!  On this page I’ll give some information about what I’ve used and why, as well as what worked and what didn’t!

The Rest of the Family!

Bridger Marsh

Bridger Marsh (an old family name!), was our first pup. We got him when he was 8 weeks old and cut our pet parent teeth with him. He is all things Beagle wrapped in the most handsome package. Bridger is an AKC registered standard sized pup.

Daisy Mae

Sweet Daisy Mae is an AKC registered under 13″ Beagle. She is about 3 months younger than Bridger and half of his weight. We bought Daisy along with her sister Trixie Rose at the same time. Trixie Rose was a gift for our grandson, and Daisy Mae as a companion for Bridger. She is an absolute sweetheart, and the Queen of the pack!

Nicky Doodle

Nicky is a gorgeous mixed breed kitty and is the old man of the group.  We adopted Nicky from the shelter when he was a little bitty kitty.  He is now 15 years old, picky, grumpy, and his own fella.  He’s our kind of guy and we absolutely adore him!

Iris & Marley

Iris & Marley joined the family in 2021 when we moved to a new property and needed a little help for Nicky in containing all the creeping things.  They are sisters and definitely fill the bill of mouse catching.  They are so energetic every night its fun to watch them.  While they love Bridger & Daisy since they grew up with them, they are still learning to be nice to Sallie & Zoey.  I take many deep breaths with Iris & Marley when I step outside each morning and am greeted by their gifts!
