About Us
Hello from Nana & Pa!
We both retired from our careers in 2020, and like so many others did, we adopted a pup (or 2 or 3 or 4 or maybe even 5!)
Nana’s Star Yorkies are my babies! The journey began with sweet Beagle Buddies Bridger Marsh & Daisy Mae. I loved them more than I ever expected to and was quite content to have my 2 pups. Then, one thing led to another and by accident, a neighbor’s little Yorkie wandered into our yard and opened my heart to Yorkie babies. It wasn’t long before Yorkies Sallie Belle and Zoey Patricia joined our family. We decided to breed the girls each just once or twice because we always felt Daisy would have been more fulfilled if we had let her be a mama once or twice before we had her spayed. We became the people we used to say we would never be – people who treat their dogs like kids. They stay in the house with us, travel with us, have regular visits to the vet and fill our lives and hearts with joy every day. Zoey had 2 sweet litters of puppies that we offered for sale to the best homes we could imagine. We added Finnegan in 2025 because I fell in love with his sweet face. In early 2026 I decided to have Zoey spayed as she had just turned 3 and raised 2 sweet litters. Tragically she did not survive the surgery and left us completely broken hearted. Our lives will never be the same without our Zoey, but we have no choice but to go on without that sweet baby girl. We love all 4 of our pups and treat them the way we believe animals deserve to be treated. It’s a lot of work, takes a lot of time, and is in no way cheap; but, our animals deserve nothing less than love, care and the knowledge that they can trust us to do those things.
It is our goal that any puppies that come from pairing our Sallie & Finnegan will be place din homes that will treat them the same way while they are with us. We will be sure to do our very best to find fur-ever homes for them that will give them the same care we would.
When you get a Nana’s Star Yorkie you can be sure you have a well loved and cared for pup!
